While I’ve heard the grumbling and understand that some hesitate to let publishers and editors “curate” since taste is subjective, one must remember this is how every professional organization under the sun works. Everything from the Grammys to the Oscars is nominated and voted on by other experienced members of industry professionals in their respective organizations.
