A Dude Called April

Once knew a dude called April.
A real dude
Whose pronouns were He Him His
From the day he first hollered.

April had anger-anxiety issues.
We called him Ape for short.
And when he lost it,
It was Ape’s going Apeshit.

I hope Ape found his June or Julie.
